Thoughts

Now that you've been through a few of the technology options with teaching, reflect on how technology might be used in your classroom to enhance your students' thinking. Remember, even if your kids are too young to use a blog, can you use one to communicate with your students' parents or can you post some of their work online to encourage their excitement with writing?

  1. As a Kindergarten teacher I find that while some students may not be ready to follow a blog, they are still very excited about technology and they love communicating with their teacher. I accomplish this easily by e-mailing my students via their parent's e-mail account. They love hearing from their teacher during the evening or weekend and it gives them more excitement for reading and writing.
